Message thanks for the email Greg. adding it to my huge compilation of notes.

I'm a little confused on the "charge face" you're talking about, would this essentially be the flow path external air passes over?

also, a deeper surface area of the intercooler would allow more "time" for outside air to cool the charged air correct?

also, not to get too technical, but considering Bernoulli's principle (going from big piping to a smaller piping, makes higher flow rate, but lower pressure), would most of the effort from changing out everything to a 2.5 inch setup be lost at the throttle body? has anyone ever measured the actual pressure drop from the charge pipe side to the back side of the throttle body?

kind of restating what you said Greg, increasing the intercooler inlet side would essentially slow down airflow (giving it more time to cool as well) and increase boost pressure which is a fantastic thing I dont think many people consider.
